MARK GUTHRIE

Mark is a long time friend who is an amazing Illustrator/Artist. We studied Illustration at QCA from '94 to '96. Here are some of his illustrations and puzzles from his web page - check it out here.

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love shoes - in all shapes and sizes. This was a gouche painting I did in a pink monochromatic colour scheme.

These pieces are created by gold & silversmith Ceeb Wassermann. She specialises in the technique of sawpiercing where the designs are cut out of metal.

A fish & a green picket fence
This is a drawing I did about ten years ago. I wanted to create an unusual image and came up with a tropical fish swimming behind a green picket fence. So when I found it a few days ago I decided to scan it into my trusty old scanner (I'm still surprised it's actually working cause it's as old as the drawing) and did a face lift via photoshop and here it is. I hope you like it.

This is the cover I created for a Senior Visual Art Work Program. The message "Art can change your life" represents my own experience with Art and how it has shaped my life. The message is coming from the head as I believe that the mind is the primary source for creativity.
